Dear Brothers and Sisters:
The 60th Annual CUPE Alberta Convention is being held on March 25th, 26th & 27th, 2010 at the Lethbridge Lodge, Lethbridge, Alberta. This is where affiliated locals to CUPE Alberta have the opportunity to send their delegates to voice their questions, share information and show our solidarity.
We at CUPE Alberta would like to extend this opportunity to have one (1) member from your Local attend our Division Convention as a guest observer. This would allow your local the opportunity to see exactly what happens at a convention. Keep in mind that your local union would be responsible for any expenses that you incur.
Registration will commence at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 followed by an Ice Breaker for Convention Delegates. The Convention itself begins at 10:00 A.M. Thursday March 25th, 2010 and continues to adjournment Saturday, March 27th, 2010.
Brother Moist is scheduled to speak on March 26th at 1:30 P.M. and Brother Genereux is scheduled for 11:00 A.M on March 25th.
